WHERE IS LONG BAY LOCATED?
This unique little cove sits at the end of cockle bay street in the village of Old Road in the southwest of Antigua. It is a pretty secluded beach and about a 5-minute walk from the calm beautiful Morris Bay.
HOW CAN THE BEACH BE ACCESSED?

In this quiet countryside, Cockle Bay hides within lush green bushes and holds a very tropical tranquil vibe. With reefs covering the majority of the bay, it is a perfect destination for shallow snorkeling and swimming.
The sand itself is blanketed by powdery shells giving it a pinkish tint. This little beach is covered in vibrant reefs with lots of colorful fishes and other underwater creatures just waiting for you to discover. The water is extremely shallow and usually calm so you can enjoy swimming in certain clear areas around the bay.
EXPLORING
Cockle Bay offers a very private and quiet adventure. Surrounded by lush green hillsides and magnificent views all around, you will surely have a great time exploring Cockle Bay. There is also a trail leading to the picturesque Morris Bay. Along this path, you will come across some ruins of a sugar mill which you can also explore and perhaps take photos for keepsakes.
