Darkwood Beach
Darkwood Beach is one of the most beautiful and enjoyed beaches by Antiguan locals and visitors to the island. The beach offers some of the most iridescent and crystal clear waters. With a backdrop of hilltops and tropical landscape around; the views are both panoramic and spectacular. On a clear day, you can see a neighbouring island Montserrat. Being one of the longest stretches of beach on the island, there is ample space to take it all in. There is also a great reef formation close to the shore on one side of the beach that makes it a perfect place to snorkel without going too far out in the water.

You can get here with no trouble, it’s on the West side of the island, not too far off Valley Road, between Coco Beach and Darkwood Beach. And at the core of it all is Ffryes Beach, a sparkling white-sand coastline just a bit south of Jolly Harbour, a bit north of Darkwood, home to one of the most spectacular coastlines in the whole Caribbean.

HOW CAN THE BEACH BE ACCESSED?
Ffryers is accessible to the public. It is also accessible by wheelchair and has wheelchair friendly washrooms and restaurants.
